Mutant Robot - Mission Statement

 

Mutant Robot is a new company set up by longstanding filmmakers with over 100 years and thousands of hours of drama-making experience. Currently, we are co-producing the comedy murder mystery "Schadenfreude" about a local girl's murder and the media frenzy that ensues. "Schadenfreude" (pronounced shard-en-freud) is a quality project that - despite its £150K SEIS budget - features actors of the calibre of Ronald Pickup, Simon Gregor, Moya Brady, and the voice talent of Dame Judi Dench.

 

Our second feature film, "Expulsion", is a psychological horror in which group of western adventure seekers become the victims in a cat and mouse chase when they cross paths with Bedoiun tribesman. "Expulsion" is set in the Jordanian desert, an area of outstanding majesty that covers over 700 square kms and is as yet unknown to Western audiences.

 

Mutant is also developing pilots for several drama series. The first pilot for a drama comedy shall be shooting late in 2016. The second pilot for a sci-fi drama shall shoot in 2018.
